Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Chauvin's Morgan Sampson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. August Marsh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Scott Ring made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derek Morrison during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Chauvin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derek Morrison to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Chauvin's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Morton came free, but Scott Ring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Mark Richardson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chauvin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Mark Richardson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Morton to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Chauvin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Bernstein to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Chauvin's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Morton came free, but Scott Ring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scott Ring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Marsh, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Morgan Sampson took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Keenan Gilbert to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Morton in the 79th minute of play forced Chauvin's goalkeeper Scott Ring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. August Marsh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Ring having to interfere. Morgan Sampson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Keenan Gilbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Salois kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The excitement rose when Kildonan's Leon Vertefeuille after 92 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Chauvin's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-2. After 97 played minutes Chauvin got a freekick which was hit by Derek Morrison. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
