McGillivray FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Rivera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspard Wright breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Rivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kill-Animals's Carlos Caouette got a free kick in the 14th minute. Armand Vinson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in McGillivray FC's zone, Léonard Gallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shirley Ezell came out of the goal and Léonard Gallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kill-Animals were furious when Deandre Kimble was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 22 minutes into the game, one of Kill-Animals:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave McGillivray FC a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Armand Vinson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kill-Animals's Gaspard Wright. 1-0. Cristobal Rivera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspard Wright read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kill-Animals's Buck Viens got a free kick in the 29th minute. Lewis Ventura who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Gaspard Wright when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristobal Rivera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaspard Wright came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristobal Rivera slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute.
