Calvin Presley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Morton in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Harrowby's zone, August Marsh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvin Presley came out of the goal and August Marsh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 played minutes, Kildonan's Everett Humphrey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Calvin Presley came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kildonan reached it. In the 24th minute August Marsh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Presley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jackson Sampson's late challenge caught a Harrowby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jackson Sampson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Jackson Sampson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keenan Gilbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Helton in the 31st minute of the match. Kildonan's supporters rose to their feet, but August Marsh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calvin Presley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rickie Crisp kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Helton was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Harrowby getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dudley Sherrill hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Harrowby's Lucas Nunez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keenan Gilbert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Keenan Gilbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Helton, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Pablo Morton was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Kildonan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Helton in the 71st minute of play forced Kildonan's goalkeeper Keenan Gilbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harrowby's Calvin Presley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Harrowby from getting a goal against them. Lucas Nunez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
