Shirley Ezell came out of the goal and Mark Richardson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lewis Ventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Ring having to interfere. Mark Richardson in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Shirley Ezell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Scott Ring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Lewis Ventura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Scott Ring was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute Morgan Sampson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shirley Ezell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scott Ring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Ventura in the 39th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Cristobal Rivera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Cristobal Rivera made the kick off in the second half. Shirley Ezell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Richardson in the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, McGillivray FC's Franklyn Fugate got a free kick in the 57th minute. Cristobal Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Ring having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Rivera couldn't finish the play. McGillivray FC's Lewis Ventura got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Scott Ring stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristobal Rivera's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute, Cristobal Rivera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Scott Ring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Lewis Ventura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scott Ring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. McGillivray FC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Chauvin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armand Vinson took the corner. After taking down the ball on McGillivray FC's corner Armand Vinson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Scott Ring quite easily take care of the ball. In the 89th minute, McGillivray FC's Cristobal Rivera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 93rd minute, Lewis Ventura fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Chauvin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. McGillivray FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
