Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Neelin's Jan Lindsey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Philbert Larkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scottie Lacombe having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bradly Varner got free with Henry Byers in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jan Lindsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Byers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Lindsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Neelin's Jan Lindsey got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Marlboro got a freekick which was hit by Terrance Williamson. Bradly Varner struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Henry Byers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neelin. With a little luck, Marlboro's Henry Byers got control of the ball when Bradly Varner tried to sneak it across the goal line.
