After a rather tough play, Ridgeville's Bernardo Snyder got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Stéphane Greenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Régis Dennison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudy Lauzier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ira Altman in the 23rd minute of play. Rudy Lauzier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ira Altman in the 25th minute of the match. The goalkeeper, Rudy Lauzier, was totally fooled by Ridgeville's Cleveland Daniel, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice moves Régis Dennison could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Rudy Lauzier however easily saved by the left post. 44 minutes into the match, Peterbell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ira Altman came free, but Rudy Lauzier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ira Altman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noble Lajeunesse was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ira Altman notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Peterbell FC's Rudy Lauzier. Rudy Lauzier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 54 in the game by Ned Plourde from a close distance when the talented Brain Maloney managed to make a qualified save. Ridgeville's players were relieved. The supporters of Peterbell FC booed when Ridgeville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amédée Solis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Régis Dennison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ned Plourde got free with Brain Maloney in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ira Altman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cleveland Daniel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Ridgeville's Ira Altman in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peterbell FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Ridgeville's Cleveland Daniel got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 78th minute Ira Altman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudy Lauzier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Régis Dennison had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rudy Lauzier. Peterbell FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Régis Dennison was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Peterbell FC's Rudy Lauzier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ira Altman in the 84th minute of play. Régis Dennison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Lauzier having to interfere. If Ira Altman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Régis Dennison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudy Lauzier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Ned Plourdes short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Brain Maloney to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Noble Lajeunesse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brain Maloney was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Ridgeville players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
