Ridgeville's Dorian Corbin got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorian Corbin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Betts having to interfere. Dorian Corbin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Betts having to make a save. With a little luck, Ridgeville's Brain Maloney got control of the ball when Terry Dodd tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonso Betts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Snyder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ira Altman in the 41st minute of play forced Harwood FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Betts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorian Corbin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Betts having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dorian Corbin in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfonso Betts, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 93rd minute, Felix Pickens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Harwood FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
