Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eliseo Humphries got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Humphries in the 4th minute of play forced Headquarters FC's goalkeeper Godelieve Nicholson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shayne Lane charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shayne Lane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Headquarters FC got a freekick which was hit by Shayne Lane. If Esteban Sims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Humphries received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Godelieve Nicholson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Headquarters FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Humphries came free, but Godelieve Nicholson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Esteban Sims came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Donatville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Sims couldn't finish the play. Esteban Sims fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godelieve Nicholson having to interfere. Godelieve Nicholson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Humphries, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Eliseo Humphries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godelieve Nicholson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Headquarters FC's Hassan Collier suffered a concussion in the 19th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Esteban Sims charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Sims the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Donatville got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Sims. Christian Self recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Derrick Lilly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Sidney Gunn made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Eliseo Humphries's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godelieve Nicholson was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. A collision led to Headquarters FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Christian Self hit a great ball. Godelieve Nicholson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Humphries in the 31st minute of play. Sidney Gunn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derrick Lilly in the 33rd minute. Vaughn Doyon kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Derrick Lilly struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Sidney Gunn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Headquarters FC.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Derrick Lilly was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Donatville's Ron Matlock broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Derrick Lilly struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Sidney Gunn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Headquarters FC. Esteban Sims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With splendid footwork Eliseo Humphries arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-1 by the left pole in the game's 65th minute. If Esteban Sims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jules Ames kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Ron Matlock shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godelieve Nicholson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sidney Gunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derrick Lilly in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Headquarters FC's Godelieve Nicholson got control of the ball when Esteban Sims tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Self might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sidney Gunn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Self ran back to his position shaking his head. Donatville's Sidney Gunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derrick Lilly in the 95th minute of play. The Donatville supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Donatville would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
