Rossburn's Jules Fagan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Rossburn from getting a goal against them. When Don Croquetaigne fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rossburn's protests and gave Don Croquetaigne a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Rossburn got a freekick which was hit by Don Croquetaigne. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Peterbell FC's Noble Lajeunesse in the 19th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jules Fagan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Rossburn through an amazing save. 22 minutes into the match, Rossburn's goalkeeper Jules Fagan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ned Plourde. Alonso Buckley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ned Plourde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jules Fagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Peterbell FC got a freekick which was hit by Barney Kyle. Dominic Brown made a great header on Rossburn's corner, it was just that Peterbell FC's Rudy Lauzier managed to reach the ball for a save. If Noble Lajeunesse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ned Plourde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jules Fagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noble Lajeunesse to make the kick off. Édouard Burnette took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rudy Lauzier. Peterbell FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute, Noble Lajeunesse made a precise shot to the right of Jules Fagan. Rossburn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Rossburn getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Philibert Cuillerier hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes, Peterbell FC's Tyler Branch shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jules Fagan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peterbell FC reached it. Peterbell FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
