Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Rossburn's Alonso Buckley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Harwood FC's Renaud McLeod got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Édouard Burnette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Felix Price hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonso Buckley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Betts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Terry Dodd who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Jules Fagan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rossburn's Jules Fagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emile Dennis in the 17th minute of play. Alonso Buckley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rossburn's goalkeeper Jules Fagan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Don Croquetaigne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rossburn and the Harwood FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rossburn's Don Croquetaigne got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the Harwood FC defense, Édouard Burnette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Betts. The Harwood FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Betts should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Ronnie Burgess was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harwood FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rossburn the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Ronnie Burgess hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, Rossburn's Alonso Buckley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Betts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jules Fagan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emile Dennis in the 43rd minute of the match. Terry Dodd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jules Fagan having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emile Dennis in the 47th minute of play forced Rossburn's goalkeeper Jules Fagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emile Dennis to make the kick off. Emile Dennis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Fagan having to interfere. Édouard Burnette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Betts having to interfere. Alonso Buckley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alfonso Betts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Rossburn's Alonso Buckley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Betts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Harwood FC's zone, Alonso Buckley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Betts came out of the goal and Alonso Buckley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terry Dodd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Fagan having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Harwood FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Betts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonso Buckley. The crowd rose to their feet as Édouard Burnette kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfonso Betts. That made the score 0-3 in the 75 minute of play. Édouard Burnette in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfonso Betts, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alonso Buckley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alfonso Betts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jules Fagan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Dodd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jules Fagan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emile Dennis's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Alonso Buckley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Betts having to interfere. The Rossburn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rossburn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
