In the 6th minute, Clay Bureau sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tadoussac AFC's Philibert Margand didn't even have to move. Whitworth AFC's Burt Benoit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Whitworth AFC from getting a goal against them. Thibault Draper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Philibert Margand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Whitworth AFC booed when Tadoussac AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marion Church didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philibert Margand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gene Shepard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burt Benoit having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Whitworth AFC's Sal Godin got a free kick in the 18th minute. Arthur Henry received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Burt Benoit came out and tried to block the shot, but Arthur Henry slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. In the 24th match minute, Whitworth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominique Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tadoussac AFC booed when Whitworth AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominique Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Whitworth AFC's Burt Benoit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Phillips in the 33rd minute of play. When Arthur Henry came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Tadoussac AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Henry couldn't finish the play. Tadoussac AFC's Arthur Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Arthur Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tadoussac AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Henry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Géraud Parnell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amos Phillips struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Burt Benoit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tadoussac AFC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amos Phillips made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Thibault Draper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitworth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thibault Draper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philibert Margand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gene Shepard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Philibert Margand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Henry in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Burt Benoit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadoussac AFC's Philibert Margand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Tadoussac AFC from getting a goal against them. Arthur Henry might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Burt Benoit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arthur Henry ran back to his position shaking his head. If Arthur Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Tadoussac AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Whitworth AFC:s goal. In the 88th match minute, Tadoussac AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradly Auclair to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Thibault Draper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Philibert Margand stood somewhat misplaced when Gene Shepard came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 101 minute. The Whitworth AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
