Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Makamik's Luis Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donat Boucher in the 3rd minute of play. Jean Ritchie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lane Rowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Loyd Dunbar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Makamik's goal looked a bit too open when Donat Boucher came free, but Luis Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donat Boucher struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Luis Roland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holman FC. In the 32nd minute, Jean Ritchie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holman FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Loyd Dunbar made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Lane Rowley sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Lane Rowley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loyd Dunbar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean Ritchie to make the kick off. Lane Rowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Loyd Dunbar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Makamik were furious when Roland Trépanier was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Luis Roland, was totally fooled by Holman FC's Antoine Miner, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Makamik's Lane Rowley got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holman FC's Loyd Dunbar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joan Arias in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Makamik's zone, Donat Boucher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Roland came out of the goal and Donat Boucher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lane Rowley came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Makamik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lane Rowley couldn't finish the play. Holman FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
