Burt Benoit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 29 played minutes Whitworth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gene Shepard. 30 minutes into the game, Truro's Davis Adams nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Burt Benoit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Davis Adams scored 1-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burt Benoit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Whitworth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathanael Zamora came free, but Burt Benoit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Davis Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thibault Draper made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davis Adams got free with Burt Benoit in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nathanael Zamora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burt Benoit having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Whitworth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathanael Zamora came free, but Burt Benoit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Whitworth AFC's Burt Benoit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathanael Zamora in the 64th minute of play. Rodrick Foley kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Davis Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. A wasted opportunity for Truro. Burt Benoit didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davis Adams went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Thibault Draper's late challenge caught a Truro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Burt Benoit made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Davis Adams sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th match minute, Whitworth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thibault Draper to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Truro. Prosper Voss stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Burt Benoit. 1-7. Burt Benoit made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Davis Adams sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Truro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Whitworth AFC.
