Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Varennes AFC's Kasey Espinoza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kasey Espinoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Kasey Espinoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Holman FC's Jean Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Ritchie in the 16th minute of play forced Varennes AFC's goalkeeper Robert Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasey Espinoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loyd Dunbar having to interfere. Donat Boucher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Ritchie in the 24th minute of the match. Holman FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antoine Miner in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Antoine Miner got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robert Hatch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donat Boucher in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Hatch saved Varennes AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Varennes AFC's Harrison Barnett got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Jean Ritchie came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Holman FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Ritchie couldn't finish the play. Robert Hatch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean Ritchie made a kick off. If Kasey Espinoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasey Espinoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Loyd Dunbar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Basile Nunez came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Holman FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basile Nunez couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Basile Nunez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Holman FC's zone, Logan Lespérance stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loyd Dunbar came out of the goal and Logan Lespérance tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Ritchie in the 76th minute of the match. Colin Kilgore's late challenge caught a Holman FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Colin Kilgore helped the player get up and apologised. Donat Boucher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Robert Hatch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donat Boucher got free with Robert Hatch in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Hatch was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Jean Ritchie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jean Ritchie really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. When Jean Ritchie came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Holman FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Ritchie couldn't finish the play. Holman FC's Loyd Dunbar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Logan Lespérance in the 86th minute of play. Robert Hatch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Ritchie in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Donat Boucher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Robert Hatch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Holman FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
