Barrhead Stadium

Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 5 minutes, Amos Phillips managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tadoussac AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Phillips was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 played minutes Tadoussac AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marion Church. After a defensive mix-up in Barrhead's zone, Arthur Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathaniel Norman came out of the goal and Arthur Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Nathaniel Norman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leslie Lincoln came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Philibert Margand could save by the left post. The supporters of Barrhead booed when Tadoussac AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barton McCloud didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Phillips in the 21st minute of play forced Barrhead's goalkeeper Nathaniel Norman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Amos Phillips ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nathaniel Norman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nathaniel Norman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Phillips in the 28th minute of the match. Leslie Lincoln fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philibert Margand having to interfere. Leslie Lincoln's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Philibert Margand firmly grabbed it by the left post. Barrhead's Nathaniel Norman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Henry in the 36th minute of play. Marion Church hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Roman Bartlett from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Philibert Margand's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Barrhead players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tadoussac AFC were winning 0-1.
After 51 played minutes Barrhead got a freekick which was hit by Leslie Lincoln. Arthur Henry who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Nathaniel Norman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joesph Bruner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philibert Margand having to interfere. In the 57th minute Joesph Bruner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philibert Margand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arden McRae kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The long shot by Daniel Archambault in the 59th minute really tested Nathaniel Norman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tadoussac AFC's Arthur Henry was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 72 played minutes Tadoussac AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amos Phillips. 82 minutes into the game, Barton McCloud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tadoussac AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrhead the free kick. Leslie Lincoln struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Philibert Margand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrhead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joesph Bruner in the 86th minute of play forced Tadoussac AFC's goalkeeper Philibert Margand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joesph Bruner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philibert Margand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Joesph Bruner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Barrhead supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tadoussac AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Tadoussac AFC.
