Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christophe Major started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Matthew Lay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macalister's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew Lay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evrard Hills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 9 minutes, Christophe Major managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delburne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christophe Major was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarod Rowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Evrard Hills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Bernard Laprise put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Evrard Hills. After 26 played minutes, Macalister's Arturo Hope shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evrard Hills came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Macalister reached it. In the 35th minute, Christophe Major got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Christophe Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilburn Bonner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Séguin succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Jarod Rowley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evrard Hills having to interfere. Matthew Lay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Evrard Hills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Macalister were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthew Lay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delburne's Evrard Hills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Delburne from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute of the match Arturo Hope sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evrard Hills skillfully saved the ball. Jarod Rowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Evrard Hills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarod Rowley scored 1-3 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evrard Hills, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Macalister's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daren Kaplan was slow to take the kick. During this time Delburne's players had a chance to rest. In the 72nd minute, Jarod Rowley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Delburne's Christophe Major nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilburn Bonner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Jarod Rowley struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Evrard Hills didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macalister. The crowd rose to their feet as Matthew Lay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evrard Hills. That made the score 2-4 in the 96 minute of play.
