Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christophe Major started the match with the kick off. If Alonzo Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Delburne's zone, Alonzo Hill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evrard Hills came out of the goal and Alonzo Hill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the game, Alonzo Hill lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Evrard Hills. Alonzo Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Delburne booed when Galiote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Prince didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evrard Hills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dong Yost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Séguin in the 19th minute of the match. Christophe Major recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Christophe Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Vicente Prince hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Séguin struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Dong Yost didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delburne. 37 minutes into the match, Galiote's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Major came free, but Dong Yost reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Carl Worthington mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delburne and the Galiote players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Delburne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Worthington to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Hill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Hill was the one to do the kick off. Evrard Hills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Otto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Nicholas Otto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evrard Hills was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Galiote's Dong Yost proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Galiote from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Galiote getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Robert Connor hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Galiote's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Major came free, but Dong Yost reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Evrard Hills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delburne's Evrard Hills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Otto in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Connor during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robert Connor kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Christophe Major came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Delburne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christophe Major couldn't finish the play. Ronny Séguin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dong Yost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Connor got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
