Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Haleys AFC's Buddy Monty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephan Deniger in the 3rd minute of play. Julian Brault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmad Jernigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddy Monty having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Darrin Head was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haleys AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netashquan the free kick. Buddy Monty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephan Deniger's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Willy Lafond made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Brault in the 25th minute. Haleys AFC were furious when Alexandre Bassett was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 27 minutes into the game, one of Haleys AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Netashquan. Andreas Lacombe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Buddy Monty. 0-1. Willy Lafond came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Haleys AFC's Julian Brault. But to his dismay, Julian Brault quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Netashquan's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Ray came free, but Willy Lafond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Dewey Drouin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Brault fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Lafond having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stephan Deniger was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Quentin Ray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haleys AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin Ray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willy Lafond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Gosselin's late challenge caught a Netashquan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Gosselin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Haleys AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Gosselin to maneuver through the defense. Julian Brault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Willy Lafond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stephan Deniger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Ahmad Jernigan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Brault might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willy Lafond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Brault ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmad Jernigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Buddy Monty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Netashquan booed when Haleys AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrin Head didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stephan Deniger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Buddy Monty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julian Brault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Willy Lafond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Brault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dewey Drouin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddy Monty having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netashquan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
