A collision led to Netashquan getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sang Keith hit a great ball. Eliseo Brady, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jarod Rowley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Netashquan's Laurent Gann got a free kick in the 7th minute. Netashquan's Willy Lafond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Lay in the 9th minute of play. Jarod Rowley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthew Lay in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willy Lafond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Willy Lafond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Lay in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Deniger in the 19th minute of play forced Macalister's goalkeeper Wilburn Bonner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilburn Bonner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmad Jernigan in the 21st minute. A collision led to Netashquan getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Stephan Deniger hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Macalister's Matthew Lay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willy Lafond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarod Rowley in the 25th minute of play forced Netashquan's goalkeeper Willy Lafond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Dewey Drouin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netashquan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macalister the free kick. After having played for 27 minutes, Matthew Lay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macalister's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthew Lay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Jarod Rowley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Lafond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Netashquan got a freekick which was hit by Sang Keith. The audience was convinced that Matthew Lay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willy Lafond was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 48th minute Jarod Rowley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Lafond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Matthew Lay made the kick off in the second half. Netashquan's Willy Lafond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Netashquan from getting a goal against them. Jarod Rowley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Willy Lafond made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Jarod Rowley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matthew Lay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Willy Lafond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Netashquan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Santos to maneuver through the defense. When Matthew Lay came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Macalister fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthew Lay couldn't finish the play. After 66 minutes of play Netashquan's Dewey Drouin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 66th minute, Dewey Drouin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarod Rowley's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Willy Lafond skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohammed Caron during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Netashquan got a freekick which was hit by Mohammed Caron. Matthew Lay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew Lay charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthew Lay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Macalister's Matthew Lay got a free kick in the 88th minute. Willy Lafond made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jarod Rowley sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Matthew Lay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Willy Lafond. That made the score 0-1 in the 91 minute of play. The Netashquan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Macalister were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
