The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stéphane Crow during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Carmi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Stéphane Crow. In the 5th minute of the match Daren Kaplan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonzo Patel skillfully saved the ball. Evrard Hills stood somewhat misplaced when Fermin Benoit came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Fermin Benoit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Benoit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonzo Patel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronny Séguin went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Evrard Hills made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Fermin Benoit sent off a good shot on target. Nicholas Tidwell hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Serge Daugherty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serge Daugherty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evrard Hills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Benoit got free with Evrard Hills in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Delburne's goalkeeper Evrard Hills had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jay Lord. Delburne's Evrard Hills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prince Faure in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Ronny Séguin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delburne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Séguin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, one of Carmi AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christophe Major made a kick off. When Carmi AFC's Jay Lord in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Delburne's goalie prevented a goal. Carmi AFC's Fermin Benoit got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonzo Patel came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Delburne's Ronny Séguin. But to his dismay, Ronny Séguin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 70 minutes into the match, Carmi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Major came free, but Alfonzo Patel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Carmi AFC's zone, Christophe Major stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonzo Patel came out of the goal and Christophe Major tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brain Laforge charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brain Laforge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, Delburne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brain Laforge to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Numbers Leonard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Delburne walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
