After a defensive mix-up in Valleyfield's zone, Jarod Rowley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiacre Ratté came out of the goal and Jarod Rowley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Curran in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilburn Bonner saved Macalister from getting behind. After 19 played minutes Macalister got a freekick which was hit by Oren Gregg. Julian Whitehead fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilburn Bonner having to interfere. The supporters of Valleyfield booed when Macalister was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Laprise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilburn Bonner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Whitehead, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Wilburn Bonner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Curran in the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Curran in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilburn Bonner saved Macalister from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Curran in the 34th minute of play forced Macalister's goalkeeper Wilburn Bonner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilburn Bonner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Curran in the 37th minute of the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Santo Curran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macalister's Wilburn Bonner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Macalister's Matthew Lay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fiacre Ratté narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Macalister's Wilburn Bonner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Macalister from getting a goal against them. Jarod Rowley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
