Delburne's Evrard Hills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerald Frederick in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jerald Frederick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evrard Hills was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Stéphane Montminy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Séguin struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Renaldo Varner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delburne. In the 35th minute Christophe Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaldo Varner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerald Frederick to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, Stéphane Montminy fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Evrard Hills having to interfere. After 52 minutes, Pablo Crowder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delburne and the Curling players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Delburne's Carl Worthington got a free kick in the 54th minute. Bernard Bullard was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, one of Delburne:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Curling's Renaldo Varner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Séguin in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stéphane Montminy got free with Evrard Hills in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evrard Hills was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lon Otero. Stéphane Montminy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stéphane Montminys short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Evrard Hills to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Delburne's Ronny Séguin got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronny Séguin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
