The supporters of Haleys AFC booed when Aillik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobbie Prescott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Brault could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Bernardo Maheu made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Aillik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien Coyle came free, but Bernardo Maheu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Alexandre Bassett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haleys AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aillik FC the free kick. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Aillik FC. Wilford Fox stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Buddy Monty. 0-1. Edmund Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Buddy Monty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perceval Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Haleys AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ruben Gosselin hit a great ball. Buddy Monty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perceval Ramirez in the 39th minute of the match. Aillik FC's Adalberto Bernstein got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Aillik FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Keven Charron hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Brault got free with Bernardo Maheu in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Adalberto Bernstein made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucien Coyle in the 74th minute of play forced Aillik FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Maheu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aillik FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perceval Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Lucien Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haleys AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucien Coyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Maheu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Haleys AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aillik FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Aillik FC.
