Buddy Monty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dario Richard's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Lucien Coyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jamie Lynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, André Pittman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Braeside AFC and the Haleys AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Pittman kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Braeside AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Richard to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Haleys AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Richard came free, but Buddy Monty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buddy Monty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Richard, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucien Coyle in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jamie Lynn saved Braeside AFC from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Tuan Hurt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dario Richard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 33rd minute of the match André Pittman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave André Pittman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 34th minute, André Pittman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, one of Haleys AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Haleys AFC. The referee gave Braeside AFC a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Allen Thurston, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haleys AFC's Buddy Monty. 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, Haleys AFC's Lucien Coyle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jamie Lynn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jesse Brousse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Buddy Monty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lucien Coyle made the kick off in the second half. Tuan Hurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th match minute, Haleys AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Gosselin to maneuver through the defense. Haleys AFC's Buddy Monty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuan Hurt in the 60th minute of play. Tuan Hurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddy Monty having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuan Hurt in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buddy Monty saved Haleys AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Braeside AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mel Libby hit a great ball. Lucien Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Lynn having to interfere. Tuan Hurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddy Monty having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucien Coyle in the 75th minute of play forced Braeside AFC's goalkeeper Jamie Lynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tuan Hurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddy Monty having to interfere. In the 88th minute Jesse Brousse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buddy Monty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Braeside AFC's Allen Thurston got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Braeside AFC's zone, Lucien Coyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamie Lynn came out of the goal and Lucien Coyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Braeside AFC had played much better football throughout.
