Macalister's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carmi AFC the free kick. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macalister's goalkeeper Wilburn Bonner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fermin Benoit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute of the match Carmi AFC got a corner. Macalister's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serge Daugherty ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Prince Faure managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Prince Faure was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilburn Bonner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serge Daugherty kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Jarod Rowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alfonzo Patel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Macalister getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Andreas Bergeron hit a great ball. If Fermin Benoit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Laprise got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 47th minute, Bernard Laprise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmi AFC were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Macalister's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serge Daugherty took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Serge Daugherty got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilburn Bonner quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jay Lord made a kick off. Wilburn Bonner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Benoit's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Jarod Rowley struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. In the 80th minute Fermin Benoit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilburn Bonner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jarod Rowley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarod Rowley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonzo Patel having to interfere. If Arron Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stéphane Crow fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carmi AFC's protests and gave Stéphane Crow a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carmi AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jarod Rowley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Alfonzo Patel made a huge save. Macalister were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Carmi AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
