After a rather tough play, Macalister's Arturo Hope got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jarod Rowley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaldo Varner having to interfere. Renaldo Varner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthew Lay's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 29th minute, Bernard Laprise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Arron Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 42nd minute Stéphane Montminy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilburn Bonner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerald Frederick took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilburn Bonner. Wilburn Bonner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerald Frederick to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Curling's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Lay came free, but Renaldo Varner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Jarod Rowley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macalister's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarod Rowley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Macalister's Jarod Rowley made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renaldo Varner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jerald Frederick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Wilburn Bonner managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Curling's Stéphane Montminy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macalister's goalkeeper Wilburn Bonner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Macalister getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bernard Laprise hit a great ball. With a little luck, Macalister's Wilburn Bonner got control of the ball when Stéphane Montminy tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Stéphane Montminy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The attack was good, but when Jerald Frederick in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Stéphane Montminy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Jerald Frederick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes Curling got a freekick which was hit by Stéphane Montminy. Matthew Lay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arron Souza in the 92nd minute of play forced Curling's goalkeeper Renaldo Varner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harrison Jacobs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
