The long shot by Évariste Darnell in the 3rd minute really tested Jamie Lynn's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 6 played minutes, Braeside AFC's Serge Edmonds shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evrard Hills came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Braeside AFC reached it. The supporters of Braeside AFC booed when Delburne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Crowder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Braeside AFC defense, Ronny Séguin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jamie Lynn. The Braeside AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jamie Lynn should have stopped the shot. Serge Edmonds hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Christophe Major in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jamie Lynn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Evrard Hills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Richard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evrard Hills came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Braeside AFC's Mel Libby. But to his dismay, Mel Libby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 38th minute, Dario Richard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Tuan Hurt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braeside AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuan Hurt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evrard Hills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evrard Hills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Richard in the 41st minute of the match. Tuan Hurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christophe Major made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Braeside AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Jamie Lynn went to the wrong direction when Daren Kaplan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Delburne's Christophe Major in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Braeside AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Dario Richard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Dario Richard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delburne's Evrard Hills was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dario Richard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evrard Hills having to interfere. Evrard Hills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Richard in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Braeside AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Richard to maneuver through the defense. Jamie Lynn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Séguin in the 73rd minute of the match. Ronny Séguin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jamie Lynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tuan Hurt got free with Evrard Hills in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jamie Lynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christophe Major in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Braeside AFC's Dario Richard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evrard Hills. Evrard Hills yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Jesse Brousse kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Delburne's Ronny Séguin got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Richard in the 94th minute of play forced Delburne's goalkeeper Evrard Hills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Richard was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Braeside AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Evrard Hills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Richard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Delburne fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Braeside AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
