With a little luck, Real Madrid Club's Lazare Cantu got control of the ball when Julian Brault tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid Club's zone, Julian Brault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazare Cantu came out of the goal and Julian Brault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cornell Roach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Buddy Monty made a huge save. After 84 minutes, Ruben Gosselin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haleys AFC and the Real Madrid Club players grew even worse after the yellow card.
