Dominique Couture fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reid Kilgore having to interfere. Anibal Trevino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reid Kilgore having to make a save. If Dominique Couture had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reid Kilgore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominique Couture, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Dominique Couture sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Bonnyville's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Duranseau came free, but Melvin Carver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melvin Carver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Duranseau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bonnyville getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Wilson Baxter hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Lonny Cormier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melvin Carver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Trevino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Reid Kilgore made a huge save. If Lonny Cormier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Jim Duranseau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melvin Carver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Duranseau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Melvin Carver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jim Duranseau made the kick off in the second half. If Jim Duranseau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Wilson Baxter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anibal Trevino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reid Kilgore having to interfere. Lonny Cormier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Melvin Carver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lonny Cormier struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Melvin Carver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wimborne. In the 72nd minute, Dominique Couture ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reid Kilgore was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dominique Couture received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Reid Kilgore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reid Kilgore came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Bonnyville's Anibal Trevino. But to his dismay, Anibal Trevino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jim Duranseau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wimborne's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Duranseau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melvin Carver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lonny Cormier took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melvin Carver. Melvin Carver dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Jim Duranseau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melvin Carver. That made the score 2-2 in the 93 minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
