Wimborne's Reid Kilgore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Strange in the 27th minute of play. King Strange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Reid Kilgore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Carver struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Reid Kilgore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ottawa. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Carver to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Wimborne's Reid Kilgore got control of the ball when King Strange tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Wimborne's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Carver came free, but Reid Kilgore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Carver in the 76th minute of play forced Wimborne's goalkeeper Reid Kilgore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. King Strange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reid Kilgore having to interfere. Jasper Jarvis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertrand Coats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. King Strange in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reid Kilgore, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 94 minutes into the match, Wimborne's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Carver came free, but Reid Kilgore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
