Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Grady Dominguez got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute of the match, Julio Buck got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tod Arsenault was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 15th minute, Leslie Gareau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Cecil Andrade sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rory Shockley skillfully saved the ball. Tod Arsenault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alva Hamilton in the 19th minute of the match. Alva Hamilton struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Tod Arsenault didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fontas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alva Hamilton in the 22nd minute of play forced Hutton's goalkeeper Tod Arsenault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fontas's Julio Buck got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alonzo Baker hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Tod Arsenault was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Glenn Bates. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alva Hamilton to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Glenn Bates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Hutton's Cecil Andrade tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hutton's Tod Arsenault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alva Hamilton in the 67th minute of play. Fontas's Rory Shockley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grady Dominguez in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea Albrecht got free with Rory Shockley in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tod Arsenault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alva Hamilton in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Hutton getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gaston Gonzalez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alva Hamilton in the 80th minute of play forced Hutton's goalkeeper Tod Arsenault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hutton's Alonzo Baker got a free kick in the 80th minute. When Julio Buck came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Fontas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Buck couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grady Dominguez in the 88th minute of play forced Fontas's goalkeeper Rory Shockley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tod Arsenault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alva Hamilton in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Chet Brantley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
