Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Darwin Jacob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laprairie FC the free kick. In the 5th minute, Darwin Jacob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matador's Warren Bush got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leigh Faubert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Hays in the 12th minute of the match. Boyd Holland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leigh Faubert didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After 26 played minutes Laprairie FC got a freekick which was hit by Huey Hansen. After 27 played minutes, Matador's Wilson Lemons shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leigh Faubert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Matador reached it. Boyd Holland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-2 became the score in the 36th minute when Kevin Greenberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Perry Hays blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leigh Faubert having to make a save. After 46 played minutes Laprairie FC got a freekick which was hit by Luigi Barker. 47 minutes into the match, Laprairie FC's goalkeeper Leigh Faubert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Warren Bush.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boyd Holland to make the kick off. Kevin Greenberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dennis Brewer could save by the left post. With a little luck, Matador's Dennis Brewer got control of the ball when Kevin Greenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Boyd Holland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laprairie FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Boyd Holland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Brewer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kevin Greenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Brewer having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Matador's goal looked a bit too open when Boyd Holland came free, but Dennis Brewer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Matador defense, Kevin Greenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Brewer. The Matador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Brewer should have stopped the shot. Perry Hays recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Greenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dennis Brewer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Warren Bush shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Faubert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leigh Faubert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Hays, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Kevin Greenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dennis Brewer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Brewer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Holland in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Laprairie FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
