Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilbert Duvall started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Matador got a freekick which was hit by Darwin Jacob. If Geoffrey Ouellette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hardisty AFC's Geoffrey Ouellette in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matador's goalie prevented a goal. Wilbert Duvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dennis Brewer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Wilbert Duvall notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Matador's Dennis Brewer. Dennis Brewer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute Wilbert Duvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Brewer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren Bush could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Lindsey Watkins made a huge save. Mckinley Metz charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mckinley Metz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hardisty AFC's Mckinley Metz got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to Matador getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Neal Purcell hit a great ball. Matador's Dennis Brewer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffrey Ouellette in the 29th minute of play. Frances Castle hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Lindsey Watkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Hays, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Warren Bush might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lindsey Watkins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Warren Bush ran back to his position shaking his head. When Antione Richardson fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hardisty AFC's protests and gave Antione Richardson a yellow card for diving instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Perry Hays made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Matador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Green to maneuver through the defense. After 54 minutes of play Matador's Lino Green was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Hardisty AFC booed when Matador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Green didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xavier Goddard, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Geoffrey Ouellette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dennis Brewer made a huge save. A collision led to Matador getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Perry Hays hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Xavier Goddard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Matador's Dennis Brewer didn't even have to move. Wilbert Duvall scored 0-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Brewer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matador's Dennis Brewer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilbert Duvall in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mckinley Metz in the 69th minute of play forced Matador's goalkeeper Dennis Brewer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geoffrey Ouellette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dennis Brewer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilbert Duvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Wilbert Duvall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Brewer was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Wilbert Duvall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geoffrey Ouellette struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Dennis Brewer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hardisty AFC. Geoffrey Ouellette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wilbert Duvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Brewer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbert Duvall in the 92nd minute of play. Geoffrey Ouellette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Dennis Brewer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hardisty AFC played a much better game than Matador and deserved their victory. The Matador players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
