Guy Hammons went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Guy Hammons got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruce Lemelin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jeffry Seay struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Bruce Lemelin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weldon AFC. Mark Greene succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 21 minutes in the game, Mark Greene fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Collin Mothé having to interfere. When Jeffry Seay came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Weldon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffry Seay couldn't finish the play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Weldon AFC's Raymon Golden in the 54th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Bruce Lemelin was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Shunacadie AFC through an amazing save. In the 59th match minute, Weldon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Moïse to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes, Shunacadie AFC's Régis Martinez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Collin Mothé came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Shunacadie AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
