Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Guillory made the kick off which started today's match. Harold Caron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nathaniel Pittman. Peterbell's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Erasmo Kennedy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leigh Faubert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. When Boyd Holland came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Laprairie FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyd Holland couldn't finish the play. Frank Guillory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Guillory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Leigh Faubert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Laprairie FC's zone, Erasmo Kennedy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leigh Faubert came out of the goal and Erasmo Kennedy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Boyd Holland came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Laprairie FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyd Holland couldn't finish the play. When Bertram Baron fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peterbell's protests and gave Bertram Baron a yellow card for diving instead. Bertram Baron hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Nathaniel Pittman came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Laprairie FC's Boyd Holland. But to his dismay, Boyd Holland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boyd Holland made a kick off. Laprairie FC's Boyd Holland got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nathaniel Pittman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Greenberg in the 59th minute. Leigh Faubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Guillory in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Frank Guillory had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leigh Faubert. Laprairie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Guillory was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Kevin Greenberg took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nathaniel Pittman. Nathaniel Pittman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Bertram Baron was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bertram Baron kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Kevin Greenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathaniel Pittman having to interfere. Erasmo Kennedy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Kennedy struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Leigh Faubert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peterbell. Leigh Faubert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 96 played minutes, Peterbell's Kerry Perry shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leigh Faubert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peterbell reached it.
