The referee showed Guillermo Garnier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 10 minutes into the match, Geoffrey Ouellette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Collin Mothé. Weldon AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geoffrey Ouellette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Collin Mothé showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffrey Ouellette, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Noah Boulanger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Collin Mothé skillfully saved the ball. Lupe Lussier kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Raymon Golden struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Lindsey Watkins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weldon AFC. In the 29th match minute, Hardisty AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rey Giles to maneuver through the defense. Collin Mothé showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilbert Duvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Raymon Golden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymon Golden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Lindsey Watkins made a huge save. After having played for 43 minutes, Wilbert Duvall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hardisty AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilbert Duvall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Weldon AFC's Collin Mothé played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilbert Duvall in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Hardisty AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Wilbert Duvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Collin Mothé having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Guillermo Garnier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lindsey Watkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymon Golden, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Fernando Wilson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lindsey Watkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymon Golden in the 68th minute of play forced Hardisty AFC's goalkeeper Lindsey Watkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raymon Golden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geoffrey Ouellette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rey Giles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Collin Mothé having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilbert Duvall in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Collin Mothé prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Hardisty AFC booed when Weldon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Moïse didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olin Garceau during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Weldon AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Olin Garceau hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match, Geoffrey Ouellette got a very nice opportunity to score, but Collin Mothé was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Wilbert Duvall came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Hardisty AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilbert Duvall couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Goddard during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xavier Goddard hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Raymon Golden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weldon AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymon Golden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lindsey Watkins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hardisty AFC's Lindsey Watkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Wilson in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Raymon Golden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilbert Duvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Collin Mothé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
