The tension between the Laprairie FC and the Vonda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Laprairie FC got a freekick which was hit by Huey Hansen. Léonard Lazure scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leigh Faubert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hipolito Chester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leigh Faubert having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Laprairie FC got a freekick which was hit by Theirn Maldonado. Duane Kellogg was a little too slow when Boyd Holland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laprairie FC's goalkeeper Leigh Faubert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florian Rosen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes Laprairie FC got a freekick which was hit by Harold Flood. Hipolito Chester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leigh Faubert having to interfere. Leigh Faubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Chester in the 37th minute of play. Hipolito Chester scored 1-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leigh Faubert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Boyd Holland made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Laprairie FC's Leigh Faubert got control of the ball when Hipolito Chester tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Léonard Lazure came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Vonda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léonard Lazure couldn't finish the play. If Léonard Lazure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Crain was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Vonda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laprairie FC:s goal. The referee gave Laprairie FC a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Donat Chevrette, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vonda's Duane Kellogg. 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Kevin Greenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laprairie FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Greenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duane Kellogg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hipolito Chester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Déziel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, Vonda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léonard Lazure to maneuver through the defense. Vonda's Hipolito Chester got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 97 minutes, Boyd Holland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laprairie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boyd Holland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Greenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duane Kellogg having to interfere. When the match was over Vonda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Laprairie FC throughout the match.
