Lindsey Watkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Starks kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Brain Tabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lindsey Watkins having to interfere. A collision led to Courville AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alden McNeil hit a great ball. Wilbert Duvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Clifford having to interfere. If Brain Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Graig Loomis hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Wesley Marleau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Geoffrey Ouellette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Korey Blum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lindsey Watkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilbert Duvall to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Geoffrey Ouellette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Clifford was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 56th minute of the match Elbert Laws sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lindsey Watkins skillfully saved the ball. Lindsey Watkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brain Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Korey Blum took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lindsey Watkins. Lindsey Watkins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Korey Blum came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Courville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korey Blum couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Hardisty AFC's zone, Brain Tabor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lindsey Watkins came out of the goal and Brain Tabor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th match minute, Hardisty AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frances Castle to maneuver through the defense. Brain Tabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lindsey Watkins having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Korey Blum got free with Lindsey Watkins in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lindsey Watkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brain Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lindsey Watkins didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. After 86 minutes, Mckinley Metz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hardisty AFC and the Courville AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Mckinley Metz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Courville AFC's Fabien Mills got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Hardisty AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Courville AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
