The supporters of Chimo booed when Dauphin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eldridge Autier didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stacy Redd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Carney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

59 minutes into the match, Stacy Redd notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dauphin's Omar Wright. Omar Wright was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the game, Roman Gauthier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dauphin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chimo the free kick. After 64 played minutes Dauphin got a freekick which was hit by Roman Gauthier. After 65 played minutes, Chimo's Jame Garreau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omar Wright came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chimo reached it. Eldridge Autier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antwan Baez having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Chimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyle Delaney to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Eldridge Autier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joseph Heath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chimo's Antwan Baez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Chimo from getting a goal against them. Stacy Redd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Wright having to interfere.
