Frances Fortune was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Arnaud McGuire came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Huronian FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaud McGuire couldn't finish the play. Garrett Monty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrad Palacios charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrad Palacios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Codroy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrad Palacios to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frances Fortune prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frances Fortune made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Garrett Monty sent off a good shot on target. Huronian FC's Joesph Vaughan got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Garrett Monty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huronian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garrett Monty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Huronian FC's Joesph Vaughan got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joesph Vaughan was the one to do the kick off. If Francis Davila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frances Fortune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garrett Monty in the 70th minute of the match. Codroy's Val Heller got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Val Heller received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vincent Anthony came out and tried to block the shot, but Val Heller slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 82nd minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Joesph Vaughan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huronian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joesph Vaughan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Garrett Monty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frances Fortune saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Val Heller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincent Anthony. Huronian FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Val Heller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Huronian FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
