Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ron Grimes in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent Anthony prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ron Grimes in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Anthony saved Huronian FC from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Huronian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Grimes came free, but Vincent Anthony reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garrett Monty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rico Bryan having to interfere. When Kyle Wood came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Debert fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Wood couldn't finish the play. Devin Marrero charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Devin Marrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Huronian FC's Devin Marrero got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Huronian FC's zone, Kyle Wood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Anthony came out of the goal and Kyle Wood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vincent Anthony took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Grimes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidney Primeau hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Kyle Wood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vincent Anthony showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Grimes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Joesph Vaughan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Ernesto Boone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huronian FC and the Debert players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Huronian FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ernesto Boone hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ron Grimes made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garrett Monty in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rico Bryan saved Debert from getting behind. Joesph Vaughan struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Rico Bryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huronian FC. After 61 played minutes Debert got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Lang. Debert's Rico Bryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joesph Vaughan in the 63rd minute of play. Garrett Monty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ron Grimes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Debert booed when Huronian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Primeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joesph Vaughan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rico Bryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garrett Monty in the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Debert's goal looked a bit too open when Joesph Vaughan came free, but Rico Bryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Huronian FC had won after a very even match.
