Keenan McHugh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eldridge Autier, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 14 played minutes Dauphin got a freekick which was hit by Pat Shaver. After having played for 16 minutes, Brenton Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Markstay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brenton Brandt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Dauphin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brenton Brandt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 20th minute, Brenton Brandt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 22 minutes into the match, César Carney had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keenan McHugh. Markstay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César Carney was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. César Carney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Brenton Brandt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Omar Wright showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Harper in the 41st minute of the match. If Brenton Brandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Dauphin got a freekick which was hit by Wyatt Couch. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Kurtis North's late challenge caught a Markstay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurtis North helped the player get up and apologised. Kurtis North hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dauphin's zone, Brenton Brandt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Wright came out of the goal and Brenton Brandt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st match minute, Markstay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Cordova to maneuver through the defense. Curtis Alston hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Brenton Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Markstay's supporters rose to their feet, but Brenton Brandt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Wright breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Wright made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Harper in the 87th minute of play. Eldridge Autier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Keenan McHugh made a huge save. Brenton Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Omar Wright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jason Harper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Markstay were the better team. Markstay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
