Stacy Redd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the match, Markstay's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Heath came free, but Keenan McHugh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brenton Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Antwan Baez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Markstay's Jason Harper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antwan Baez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Joseph Heath managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chimo's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Heath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keenan McHugh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stacy Redd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaylord Denson charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaylord Denson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaylord Denson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Jason Harper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chimo's Antwan Baez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Jason Harper ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antwan Baez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Antwan Baez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jason Harper's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Markstay's Jason Harper got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Jason Harper made a precise shot to the right of Antwan Baez. Chimo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph Heath was the one to do the kick off. With splendid footwork Jason Harper arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-4 by the left pole in the game's 59th minute. In the 74th minute of the match Jackson Lipscomb shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antwan Baez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Chimo's Julius Sansouci got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Markstay's Jason Harper in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chimo's goalie prevented a goal. Brenton Brandt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markstay's Jason Harper got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jason Harper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Brenton Brandt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 minutes, Lyle Delaney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chimo and the Markstay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Markstay's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
