Ron Grimes scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnie Griffith, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Debert's goal looked a bit too open when Jamaal McNeal came free, but Rico Bryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Ezekiel Hutchison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Debert's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cann AFC the free kick. Ezekiel Hutchison hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the match, Debert's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Blanco came free, but Rico Bryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ron Grimes in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnie Griffith saved Cann AFC from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Weldon Bérubé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Debert's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Blanco came free, but Rico Bryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Kelly Schaefer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Ron Grimes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnie Griffith was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. With a little luck, Cann AFC's Johnie Griffith got control of the ball when Kyle Wood tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jamaal McNeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rico Bryan having to interfere. Cann AFC's Jose Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kyle Wood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Johnie Griffith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Debert's goal looked a bit too open when Jamaal McNeal came free, but Rico Bryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Kelly Schaefer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Debert and the Cann AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kelly Schaefer kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Jose Blanco, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rico Bryan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 98 minutes into the game, Kyle Wood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Johnie Griffith was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Debert had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
