Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Chicotte FC's Dewey Kimball started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Keenan McHugh made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Haywood Compton sent off a good shot on target. Napoleon Gipson kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Kendall Beal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Harper in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Markstay booed when Chicotte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabien Pratt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Jason Harper made a precise shot to the right of Kendall Beal. Chicotte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Chicotte FC's Kendall Beal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Cordova in the 21st minute of play. Keenan McHugh made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Haywood Compton sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Haywood Compton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keenan McHugh. Markstay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haywood Compton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Dewey Kimball managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chicotte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dewey Kimball was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keenan McHugh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Markstay's Jason Harper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kendall Beal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Kendall Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Harper in the 33rd minute of the match. Kendall Beal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Cordova, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes, Victor Cavazos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Markstay and the Chicotte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brenton Brandt scored 1-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kendall Beal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brenton Brandt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After having played for 61 minutes, Brenton Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Markstay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brenton Brandt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Harper in the 63rd minute of play forced Chicotte FC's goalkeeper Kendall Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chicotte FC's zone, Brenton Brandt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kendall Beal came out of the goal and Brenton Brandt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brenton Brandt hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Victor Cavazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brenton Brandt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kendall Beal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Haywood Compton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keenan McHugh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Brenton Brandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kendall Beal having to interfere. Keenan McHugh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dewey Kimball in the 97th minute of the match. Markstay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
