Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donovan Sheridan kicked off to start the match. Gavin ForestLaforest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Fortune having to interfere. Lunenburg AFC's Donovan Sheridan got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frances Fortune showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin ForestLaforest, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Arnaud Fay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Grady Yoder fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Codroy's protests and gave Grady Yoder a yellow card for diving instead. Grady Yoder hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Donovan Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donovan Sheridan took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frances Fortune. Frances Fortune dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Felipe Cortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Val Heller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Lunenburg AFC's Felipe Cortes got control of the ball when Francis Davila tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Eduardo Flaherty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Val Heller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Cortes having to interfere. Grady Yoder kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Keith Carlton, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Val Heller to make the kick off. Francis Davila took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Cortes. Felipe Cortes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Francis Davila came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Codroy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francis Davila couldn't finish the play. Felipe Cortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Val Heller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Codroy's zone, Gavin ForestLaforest stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frances Fortune came out of the goal and Gavin ForestLaforest tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frances Fortune made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavin ForestLaforest in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Codroy's goalkeeper Frances Fortune had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavin ForestLaforest. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Gavin ForestLaforest got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Donovan Sheridan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frances Fortune was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Donovan Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frances Fortune was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Codroy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lunenburg AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Lunenburg AFC.
