After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Luis Swain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westholme's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Swain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Wright breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Elliott Coronado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Dauphin's goalkeeper Omar Wright had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marshall Kirkland. The audience was convinced that Luis Swain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Wright was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Eldridge Autier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolland Britt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. If Eldridge Autier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, César Carney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dauphin's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
