All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dewey Kimball in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Cortes saved Lunenburg AFC from getting behind. Donovan Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kendall Beal having to interfere. When Santiago Mock fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chicotte FC's protests and gave Santiago Mock a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lunenburg AFC booed when Chicotte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Mock didn't get a good kick on the ball.
