When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jason Harper made a kick off. Vincent Anthony took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Harper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keenan McHugh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garrett Monty in the 60th minute. Garrett Monty received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Keenan McHugh came out and tried to block the shot, but Garrett Monty slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the game, Markstay's Brenton Brandt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincent Anthony made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Jason Harper might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincent Anthony. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jason Harper ran back to his position shaking his head. Jason Harper blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincent Anthony having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jason Harper in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent Anthony prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaud McGuire during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Markstay booed when Huronian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaud McGuire didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Garrett Monty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huronian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garrett Monty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
