Alva Sexton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Theodore Comer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Gauthier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Rosevear was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eldon Querry to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes, Theodore Comer made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rosevear's Octavio Gauthier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dewayne Flint kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Alva Sexton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Gauthier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theodore Comer was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Rosevear was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrius Barney to maneuver through the defense. Alva Sextons short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Octavio Gauthier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alva Sexton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hixon FC booed when Rosevear was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eldon Querry didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Hixon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Pickett came free, but Renaldo McCray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Theodore Comer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edward Lécuyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosevear's Octavio Gauthier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodore Comer in the 73rd minute of play. Octavio Gauthier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alva Sexton in the 76th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Alva Sexton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hixon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alva Sexton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renaldo McCray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Pickett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alva Sexton, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Octavio Gauthier was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Theodore Comer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hixon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Theodore Comer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Gauthier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hixon FC's zone, Edward Lécuyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaldo McCray came out of the goal and Edward Lécuyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Rosevear supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hixon FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hixon FC.
